Three high profile sponsors have thrown their weights behind HiTV’s reality show tagged Koko Mansion.
At a media event on Monday in Lagos, Mr. Toyin Subair, founder of HiTV described the decision of Nigerian Breweries Plc, Jagal Group, makers of Tetmosol antiseptic soap and Vitafoam to be part of sponsors of the show as laudable and trailblazing move.
He made this statement in Lagos while receiving officials of the corporate giants to Koko Mansion.
According to him, the sponsors will get value for their money because Koko Mansion will promote the virtues of the Nigerian woman.
Said he: “What we are looking for is the ideal woman. It is heart warming to note that these high profile sponsors have decided to come on board the Koko Mansion train and it goes a long way to prove that many people believe in the dream we share.”
Subair described the rush by young girls to register and be part of the reality TV show as encouraging, adding that the process is gathering momentum.
Reacting, Mr. Maher Jarmakani, Executive Director, Jagal Group, said his company decided to sponsor Koko Mansion because of it’s desire to identify with other leading brands in the country.
Said he: “We are a number one brand and that is why we are partnering with two wonderful brands, HiTV and D’banj, to bring out the beauty in the kokolettes that will be entering the Koko Mansion.”
For Mr. Sampson Oloche, Senior Brand Manager, Star, a brand on the platform of NBL, Koko Mansion without the presence of Star is not complete.
The representative of Vitafoam, Ms Susan Aisuebeogua also reaffirmed the company’s commitment to sponsoring the reality show.
Koko Mansion revolves around the quest of 12 beautiful, talented girls that will live in a mansion for eight weeks as they slug it out to become the ideal Kokolette (wife). Afro/Pop superstar, D’banj, will play a vital role in the oncoming show.
To register, all a kokolet needs to do is walk into any GTBank branch nationwide and pay the sum of N5, 000 into the Koko Mansion Account. The Kokolette is advised to keep her teller number for registration online where she would access application forms.
There will however be auditions in three zones, Abuja, Lagos and Port Harcourt.
